If you squat wide also, your squat suit will probably work well for both. Most guys I know who squat wide and pull sumo will pull in their Titan Boss or Inzer Canvas. I'm not sure about guys who use Metal.
Titan's Velocity is a very good conventional suit, but I've not tried the sumo version.
I like something looser, my canvas is too much to deadlift in. I use a worn out Pro squatter. I had a King suit that worked pretty well, but I grew out of it
Metal King Sumo Deadlifter
I get 125lbs out of my single ply suit and it's not even very tight.
Thanks for the responses.

With respect to the Metal King Sumo Deadlifter, is that the IPF approved version?
Thanks.
I used the wide stance velocity at my last meet... i bombed in the deadlift. the suit was a bit tight, I had problems with the legs rolling up on me and pinching the crap out of my legs when I tried to get to the bar, and I couldn't hold onto the bar because of forearm issues..... So make of that what you want. I dont' think my evaluation of that suit is a good one, but I think its based on me, not poor quality of the suit.
I personally am beginning to think I pull best in just a pair of single ply briefs. I dont' think the suits are what they are cracked up to be---at least if you are lifting in single ply.

How long did you have to work with the suit to get that kind of increase?
i used to use an ace suit + single ply briefs. got about 140lbs out of it. i get about 70lbs out of ace briefs
Titan Velocity baby!!!
