I don't know about this. My hook grip is just as strong as my mixed grip, maybe even a bit stronger, it just hurts a LOT more when you're getting used to it.

As already mentioned by everybody, this was a great article, and I believe my weak points are glutes, hamstrings, and probably abs as well.This would explain a lot of things.
I do have one question for you guys...
When you go over the 400lb mark with deadlifts, do you do with or without the use of chalk or gloves?
