I think we can safely say that my back has healed up okay, haha!
Not sure where the strength came from. I've been doing more legwork and I tried to focus more on pulling backwards rather than upwards and tucking my shoulder blades into my back pockets, if you know what I mean.
Still stoked about it now, I wasn't expecting to hit that for another month or so.
Moving big weights man, more where that came from!
Nice pull. Wish I could still get big prs like that.
Good you're doing rows the better way. I always do each rep from a dead stop also. I think it is more useful that way.
one hell of a way to PR, nice job gaz, onto 200kg now
4PPS!!! YEAH BUDDY!! 200 in no time bro!
Congrats on the 400 DL man! That's the best feeling, when you DL 4 plates, because you know you're a strong motherf*cker now haha
I'll echo all the praise with the 400# DL...congrats!
Congrats on the deadlift PR!!!!
solid pulling Gaz.
Listen to your body. If you feel like you need a deload then go for it.
Strong lift. 4 pps is a nice milestone.
Bit late to the party, but congrats on pulling 180, thats huge!
Treadmill walking 20mins
Really good session, felt good to get some reps out.
Shoulder's still niggling me from last week. Hurts to lie on it at night and sometimes twinges when I perform pressing motions with it. I think I definitely overworked it. Good job it's deload week this week!
Gonna nuke it with ibuprofen and skip the dips on Weds, keeping bench and overhead very light.
Had a read up on the symptoms - similar to those of torn rotator cuff. However, from what I've read rotator cuff injuries are very painful and persistent, whereas this is only moderate and intermittent pain, making me think it's already starting to heal up after a few days. Think it's worse than a pull, probably some kind of tear, but not too serious from the feel of it.
Super sesssion with the high reps Gaz.
de loads are the most single handedly boring things in the whole world! but the change of pace is usually needed and beneficial! let that shoulder heal up!
