Normally in the past I've done treadmill work over my noon hour (having eaten at least once or twice already in the morning.) This always makes for a huge appetite for the rest of the day, at least for me.
But doing low intensity fasted cardio right away in the morning seems to keep me MUCH less hungry for the remainder of the day, and consequently the calorie deficit seems easier to maintain. Just my two cents.
Interesting. Ive always though more intense work would blunt the appetite, while less intense work would increase it.
Low intensity fasted morning cardio is the way to go though.
Well let me clarify: Fasted cardio isn't diminishing my appetite. But it's NOT making me have the huge appetite that I get if I do 'regular' cardio.
If I do regular cardio over the noon hour, I'm ravenous for the rest of the day.
I find that increased intensity increases my appetite.
So have I. Usually after a very intense running workout I'm not very hungry at all immediately after. This usually lasts for about an hour or 2, but after that amount of time passes my appetite gets pretty big.
