Long time bb 10+ years.
Im interested in your protein pudding recipes.
Im on a keto at the moment and when my body wants carbs its the sweet stuff
so im trying my hand at some protein pudding
problems is that when i make it, it just tases like hardned whey
any help would be most appreciated?
Make ice cream instead, get heavy cream add 2 scoops of whey, extra spelda if you like it extra sweet, blend and freeze.
I make a protein pudding in 2 ways (chocolate or vanilla or even a mix of both)
1) 2 Scoops of nitrean with a smashed up banana
2) 2 scoops of nitrean with 1/2 cup cottage cheese (with or without fresh fruit chunks)
its my dessert at night, and is awesome
Nature's Best Perfect Rx- makes the best tasting pudding that I have ever come across. I need it year round, its like my vice.
I like to take 3 scoops of whey protein powder(I think casein is disgusting) and blend it for 30 secs with a cup of milk. I add stevia to taste.
This is a really good, simple, perfect recipe for pudding. The key is actually using a blender.
I bought a bunch of this stuff for $6 a bag at a military PX here in Baghdad:
This stuff is weird! You mix water or milk with it put it in the fridge and it turns to pudding. I made it by accident the first time. I mixed a shake, and planned to drink a bit before my WO and some after. When I got back to it an hour later, it had foamed and thickened. Chill it and it is straight up pudding. Same consistency as Jello pudding. This is Bill Cosby's protein.
It is constantly going on sale at various supplement places for $10 a bag.
EDIT: Sorry, just read the keto part. Chocolate protein, water, and peanut butter.
If you're really in keto, your body shouldn't be wanting carbs....

dpsnutrition.net has it for 20lbs, $130. Chocolate is the way to go. I just add water and mix until desired consistency... add some cinnamon sometimes. Could use skim milk too. If I'm looking to gain weight I'll add peanut butter and oats into the pudding.... seriously cant find anything better, and I'm not looking to either. Its my vice. Any time a craving hits the pudding knocks it down. Love the stuff.
