Last deadlift looked as quick and technically sound as the first one. Great lifting and nice PR. Bodybuilding days are just plain fun. Think they're great for 'active' recovery nonsense too.

Done...Today I trained at Debs Gym so I can use their monolift. I must say that I felt so uncomfortable. It's been a while since I've used one. I started using the monolift at 390 and my setup was too wide. So that caused some pain in my groin and hips. At the end I decided to walk out the 540. It felt pretty easy, I probably had 8 reps in me. The gym doesn't have chains so I just worked up with straight weight.

Done...Pretty solid session today. Decided to train at Debs again. I stopped at 5 reps because I knew I was going to pull a heavy single afterwards. But went it came time to pull the single I was really as pumped as I was for 635. Not sure why, but it made the weight alot harder then it should have. Next week I'll be pulling off a deficit for sets of 5. I'm 11 weeks out from the meet.

Done...Last week when I used the monolift, I set my feet too wide and it killed my groin and hips. So, no more raw wide stance for me. My percent for today was 92.5 but I lowered it to 90% instead since I changed my stance. I'm so use to walking my weight out, I totally forgot to use the monolift today.
Nice audible. Maybe not setting your feet far enough under the bar. It takes a bit of time to re-adjust to the mono.
