intermediate or advanced program?
Background: I have been lifting consistently for about 4-5 years now. I did Rippetoes SS routine then a 5x5 I set up myself with an ungodly amount of volume (I actually responded pretty well).
Then I did Layne Norton's hybrid routine and loved it but because of my new work schedule had to switch. I did a 5/3/1 then BACK to the 5x5....
I recently hit new PRs in everything before getting sick and falling down a notch or two:
SQUAT: 5 X 5 X 340
OH PRESS 5 X 5 X 160
BENCH 5 X 5 X 105LBS DBs
DEADS 3 X 5 X 415
AT: 198LBS at 12% BF
I need a new routine because I can't stand my old 5x5 anymore and want to maybe do something new. I can't understand HTC12 no matter how many times I read it (lol maybe I'm just dumb) and now have a bias for high volume workouts.
Am I intermediate still ? What kind of routine do ya think will work best? I JUST WANNA BE STRONG!!! :cry:
