Record summer heat and drop in weight squatted
I wonder if any of you can give me some advice.
I came back from a week long trip 2 weeks ago, before that my squatting stat has been 315x12, 345x10, 365x8, 385x8, 405x6, 425x3, 445x3 (in one training session of legs, which include leg extension/curl combo-> squat-> deadlift or front squat-> leg press/calf raise combo -> lunges or other exercises).
Last week I squatted 315x12, 345x10, 365x8, 385x8, 405x6, 425x3, supersetting with deadlifts (225x10, 275x8, 315x6).
Last night the temperature (in North Carolina) was 78F/26C at 10pm when I went to bed and I woke up at 3am in a pool of sweat. I got up at 5am to go to the gym but felt less energy in general. Today I squatted 315x12, 345x10, 365x8, 385x8, 405x6, 425x3 but no deadlifts.
I wonder if my lack of strength/energy was due to heat? lack of quality sleep? overtraining? or the fact that I am just just getting old? :bang:
Or this is normal and I am just paranoid?
