Your ab cutting schedule should run 7 days a week and it has little to do with training. Eat right all day every day to lose bodyfat. Getting your abs to look good is probably 90% dependant on your bodyfat percentage and only 10% dependant on how you train them.
Train them once or twice a week however you wish to, and eat right every day.
Look at it this way...why aren't most powerlifters ripped? It isn't because of lack of muscle, but rather because of the abundance of bodyfat.
