shoulder and chest max
well yesterday i did shoulders. i always start off with DB shoulder press. i hit my new max yesterday. on my 4th set i put up 75's 5x, no spotter except on the lift up.
the day before that i was doing chest. i was doing DB press and i maxed at my 4th set of 95 at 5x. just thought i'd share my jubilation.
and a rant...why the hell don't my arms get bigger? i work em with back and they are just there at 16.5" and wont get any bigger. i feel like only my tris get bigger but not the bi's. i need help, should i change routine or what...is it genetics am i doomed???i want to get to 18" arms, even on a bulk i cant get em bigger.
oh yea, am i putting up alot of weight?
You say when you are on a bulk they dont get bigger? Are you gaining in other areas?

I seem to gain about 1" on my arms for every 25-30 pounds I put on (roughly)
I gained about 1 1/4" inches after a 36 lb gain. Took a year.
when i bulked i only bulked about 13-15 pounds. then i got sick and lost weight. but even after that they didnt increase in size.
Its hard to say what the problem may be, or if there even is one. If you are bulking (and actually gaining some LBM) and you are progressing with your workouts then things should fall into place. Just dont neglect any muscle group.
