Real strong pull congrats on blowin the goal away, sumo feels way more comfortable for me too.

Good shit! Are you pulling on a deadlift bar? I put my hands so half is on the smooth and half is on the knurling on a deadlift bar.
Yeah it's not a deadlift bar. It is an Olympic bar however, so it has quite a bit of whip, despite the fact that it's rated for something like 1200 pounds.
I can't even remember, do deadlift bars have gnarling all the way across? I've been thinking about getting one and storing it at the gym I go to.

I've been reading up on intermittent fasting lately, also checking out the leangains.com site. I've always been interested in IF, the science behind it makes sense to me, just never given it a try. I think next cut cycle I'm going to try the lean gains 16/8 split. I'm also going to start doing the 16/8 on the weekends right now while I'm putting weight on. Kinda thinking it might help negate a little fat gain.
I often intermittently fast when I'm frequently broke. Lotta volume this session good stuff.
No deadlift bars are smooth in the middle. They're also longer which is nice for sumo. Here's a pic of mine.

I just came. Mad jelly if that's your setup.
Yeah see that's the problem, my grip is narrower with a sumo stance so my hands end up being right where the smooth part is. I've used deadlift bars in the past at meets but my grip is a little wider with a conventional stance so it's not an issue.
I dunno why the fuck they can't make a bar with gnarling all the way across.
Damn what a dumbass completely forgot about the bar hitting shins, LOL.
Yeah I'll have to just work on widening my grip a little bit. Problem is I have pretty small hands so I need my whole hand on the gnarling or there's no chance of me holding on to it.
How much was your dead bar?
Idk its one of the other trainers at my gym. The texas deadlift bar is reasonable. 385+shipping.

Damn that's not bad, I was thinking they were closer to $600. If I hadn't just bought a house I would consider it....

I can really tell all the close-grip work has paid off, last 4 inches or so with 460 were pretty damn slow but I was able to grind it out. Was still pretty fast off my chest so I'm hoping as I continue to make close-grip progress my comp-grip bench should continue to go up.
Change that bench number in your signature freak. How wide is your wide grip?

Pretty decent PR for front squats without wraps. I think the most I've ever hit was 460 or 470 with wraps.
Watched you grow and evolve over the years to become Superman dude.
Thanks as always Terry.

I forget how much tougher multi-rep deads are when resetting between reps. Time to leave the ego at the door and get away from doing touch-n-go.
Reset meaning dead stop or stand up between reps?
No just a dead stop, maybe a couple second pause.
Strong sumo's, I plan to switch back to sumo as well soon. I was not built to pull conventional.
