Rows better for hypertrophy than deads?
I was thinking about something, and I was wondering what everyonelse thought.
If somone is training and hypertrophy is their number one priority, would it make more sense to do rows rather than deads. I know many people include both, but say you could only do one just for the sake of argument.
Dont rows (bentover or BB's or Db's) target the upper portion of the back more than deads? And doesnt the upper back have a greater potential for hypertrophy (since the muscles are bigger).
I know deads work more muscles, but on another thread most agreed that shrugs work the traps better than deads.
Im not dissing deadlifts, im just wondering if this makes any sense to other people too.
