good workout today. wasnt sure on the squat number but turns out i guessed right at 265 this cycle.
squats : warmup, 205x5, 225x3, 250x12... guys, the diff im seing in my squat is phenominal. i dont think ive ever squatted 275 for more than 3, and i think i could hit it for 7-8 comfortable reps now. this feels awesome.

That's a lot of squats with 250, bro. I'd say you have got something going there with your legs. Keep it going as far as you can. No doubt you could pull off 9-10 with 275 too. I can't wait to see what you max out with those new legs of yours, bro.

bench - warmup. 205x5, 225x3, 245x6... pretty weak. my lower back has been definitely irking me when i get my arch settled. idk what is going on with it, but its affecting my pressing.
chins : x10, x10, x6, x4... i couldnt even do 40 today.
BW dips : 5x10, these felt nice at least.

Everyone will have a bad workout every once in a while...just be glad its not a constant schit-fest in your gym..you're doing awesome on the average bud..exceptional.
Well, first of all, that is not a weak workout. Don't insult yourself. I know you expect more, but look at the big picture here.
Second, what is "going on" for you is that your body needs to catch up a bit. Look at the progress you've made in the last couple months. You've gained some weight, you've increased your work capacity, you've increased all your loads in all your lifts and you are more intense about this game. So, time to throttle down for a week or two and let your body heal up and get used to it's new "environment". Make sense? This is your body throwing a flag at you, saying "wait up a second". Ignore it, and you begin red-lining. Doesn't mean you won't make more progress or that you will definitely get hurt, it's just risky.

had a soccer game tonight. i started varsity because one was out for being red carded. played every single minute and it was a blase. 2 40 minute halves, plus two 10 minute overtime halves, then we went into a PK shootout and ended up winning 8 to 7 haha! fun stuff. i am EXHAUSTED.
