friend is openin weights today so i will head in. might do deads if no coaches are there.
ended up doing OLY squats today. legs were fine but my knee started to hurt in my PCL area so i stopped.
oly squat : 135x5, 155x5, 175x5, 185x5, 195x5 was gunna do 205 but stopped cuz back of knee.
played some pickleball afterwards. weighed 183.5 today still.
Bum deal on the knee hurting, man. Where is the PCL area? Oly Squats always mess with my knees.
PCL = posterior ('the back') cruciate ligament, its in the middle of your knee in the middle of the femur and tibia really, but it is the most furthest back ligament. prevents hyperextension. dont think i was hyperextending squatting but i am def. not used to THAT much ROM so it might of been a shock for my knees. i rubbed it after my last set and the kink pretty much went away but i didnt want to go right back to squatting cuz it'd proly just hurt again so i just took it easy.
oh yeah, ate like a freak today... box of swiss cake rolls by little debbie... was at 4250 cals by 7:00 PM haha. i am hungry but i gotta make sure n eat somethin halfway healthy anymore tonight.
Can't say I've ever hurt that part of my knee. The fronts of my knees, right below the patella is usually what hurts; my knees also sound like Rice Krispies when I bend them. Can thank 10 years of tennis for that.

personally ive never had any serious knee injuries either (no tears or strains or anything) but they do ache alot and sometimes i do get kinks and pains but who doesnt. does your patella itself hurt or the big patellar tendon on the front of your knee?
well y'all guessed it, no school today! friends openin weights at 4:30 though so i think i'll go in and deadlift. maybe try for a new PR if i can get even close to 360, havent deadlifted heavy since summer.
i swear Iowan's never go to school! Awesome OLY stuff. Keep up the solid efforts. Keep pounding though swiss cake rolls and you'll hit 200 pretty soon (witha few rolls of your own!)

swell workout today, it was one of those days where you say to yourself "damn i work hard and look good" ya know. hit a new DL PR. lifted in sweat pants for the first time ever, and had my own music with me today. (it was at gbrook with me and 2 other guys)
deadlift : 135x5, 225x3, 315x1, 315x1, 335x1, 375x1, 385x utter fail :) cud barely lift 385 off ground but got 375 with good form.
wide pullups alternate with bent over BB rows : x10, 135x10, x7, 135x10 (hard had to cheat a few but got them)
hand stand pushups :) : 3x10 felt AWESOME! man do i love these things or what.
just barely hit 184 today. :thumbup:
noticed my bsd total is at 950 now... hopefully itll be 1k by the time schools out. askin alot but ill try :)
Right on, dude. You squashed your old record. Nothing quite like a Deadlift PR. Really nice work, man. 1K total will be no problems in due time. You're just gonna keep getting stronger and stronger. 4pps deads are gonna be a joke by the time you're 18 if you stick with it...ok maybe not a joke, but you'll be crackin them out.
I too am addicted to the handstand pushups. They just feel cool doing them. I want to try and get my balance good enough to do them free form. I about killed myself the other day practicing, lol.

also, think i stressed my left pec and overstretched both of my bi's when i tried uselessly for 385 twice yesterday. bi's were cramping up with normal flexion of my arms today and felt weak in general. could be why bench was weak, or could of been because i weighed at 180... grrrr...

looks like a solid day to me. all that pickleball, keep it up and you'll be 160 by april. haha. i wouldnt worry about it. eat big and hit it hard next time. and take care of that pec. dont get hurt

thanks lion man! dont kno why im losing, have been sure to get atleast 3000 a day every day... not very many problems with pec or bi's today, just really weak in bi's and my pec is pretty much better now.
so i see you actually mentioned my gym on here!! thats awesome to get the word out! so since im a newbie is there very many local iowans on these threads that you have talked to at all? and i think dan got signed up on here but hasnt started his journel yet, but this is gonna be kicka$$ having the whole Body Dynamics crew on here at once, im pumped u have no idea!
