Flat Bench - Military - Close Grip Bench - DB Shoulder Press - Best possible formula?
If I was looking to shoot my bench press up as quickly as possible, would going to the gym every other day and doing a 5x5 of:
Flat Bench Press
Standing Military Press
Standing DB Shoulder Press
Close Grip Bench Press
Would that be the best possible way? I would eat like a rhinoceros and just do that every other day. Or would that be overtraining?
I'd only do this for 5-6 weeks at most, so don't worry about me neglecting other parts of the body, because I'll get back to doing squats and deads after I hit my bench goal.
