Awesome vid Vinnie!
Looking real strong Brian!
Awesome benching! What are you weighing at these day? Did I see that right, were you taking a breath at the bottom of that fifth rep?
Solid! Nice setup, BTW. Looked real comfortable.
Vin, off topic, but when's the last time you worked in a shirt, or when are you planning on doing a shirted training circuit again?
Damn, missed it! Yeah Vin, are these recorded somewhere?
On a related subject, great vid of Green and Spoto off of PLW:
Here's the link to the vid off of powerlifting watch. I'm pretty sure that it is the same lift, and you get a better view of the pause and the head ref giving the press command. Really shows how...
Amazing at how much control he has with that amount of weight.
I wonder how much more he could do if they let him bench with his cap on?
Nice work Vin, I'd like to see your numbers when you're 100%! Hope you feel better soon.
Who sings that song in your vid? It kicks ass!
Due to time constraints and location, I've never had the opportunity to train with a crew very often, so that has really affected my ability to train in gear vs. raw. With that said, I wish I had...
Thanks guys, that is some excellent feedback.
To you veterans, what would you recommend if you are new to equipped benching? A couple of weeks in a shirt and then a couple out until you get the form/technique down?
I've been doing them for a couple of months now, and they seem to have helped my shoulder stability quite a bit.
What are you guys doing for sets/reps? Do you aim for more volume, more eight/less...
Looking solid, Brian. Good luck!
Nice work Vin, that 535 looked like a warmup! Your vids are the definition of what setup and leg-drive really are in the bench. Once again, congratulations!
I don't press at all, either. Just some accessory work and more cardio to keep the pounds off.
Little off topic from Vince's discussion, but do any of you guys do any type of massage (foam...
And this thread is one of the main reasons I don't spend much time at other forums. Info from guys that know what they are talking about. Thanks again, guys!
Awesome lifting Travis! Smooth, and that's some amazing power out of the hole. 2012 is looking real good for you!
Now that's pure poetry! I've been looking for a quote to put in my footer. Thanks Joey!
Strong on those close-grips!
You know what I like best? I like those long pauses. I seem to recall in the past others bashing your other vids about bouncing the weight off your chest. This...
Nice work, Travis! Looking strong(er)!
