You should create a rival website that gives people the correct (your) information....

They may count as one muscle but you can hit one harder than the other, otherwise why would people bother with incline presses which hit the clavicular head more than the sternal head?

True you cannot isolate one part of a muscle, but there are two pectoral muscles, sternal and clavicular. Isn't this what the OP is referring to when he says hitting the upper chest?
  5. Should I lower protein during rest week?

Perhaps this should be in the diet section, but it's really just a question about not working out for a week. As I won't be lifting in my rest week (therefor I won't be tearing any new muscle) should...

I overcame this problem by working the arms separately and doing the weaker arm first, then I would use the same weight for the stronger arm so it didn't get as much of a workout and soon both arms...

For some people, 5x5 will not build as much mass as doing sets in the 8-10 rep range. Plus you also have to consider the fact that as you weight train for longer, the gains slow will down.

Right, so pushing muscle hard has nothing to do with growth?

If DOMS are an indication of how hard a muscle was pushed, and pushing muscles hard is what makes them grow then it is logical to think...

I think the whole 5x5 rep scheme is a bit one-dimensional. If hypertrophy is your goal I would advise you to do two exercise per bodypart, do the first one in the 8-12 rep range and the second in the...

    Are bent-knee calf raises necessary?

I did 5 sets of standing calf raises today and it really hit the soleus calf as well as the gastroc, so I'm thinking that instead of doing standing calf raises once a week and seated calf raises once...
