We never use one
I have honestly never heard of the guy before this.
Not picking on him but found the info to be pretty generic. His lifting ain't bad.
It's not too terribly different from a lot of stuff I...
Nice work dude! That's a smooth lookin bench.
Maybe get a bit of a taste for the atmosphere???? haha
I did browse through the site you listed (run lift bang) lol and I gotta say, that guy comes across as a tool. He sure is impressed with himself though.
Hip flexibility will help you be able to sit down a little more into position
When I first started competing I started some Russian routine that was completely progressive overload and had you benching 3x's a week, each one heavy.
I'll admit, I did get...
For what it's worth, the metal shirts aren't anything like a Rage X so you'll have to learn a very different groove, but like Vin said, Jo is very knowedgeable on the sizing.
I understand brother. I originally thought you were talking like 4 months. A month probably won't make a huge difference.
One of the most significant purposes of the max effort method is CNS training, so for someone as strong as you are, you'll probably notice a bit of a drop off in your strength when you transition...
I tried them a long time ago, I like high rep rows but I don't like sloppy high rep rows.
yeah I guess I should clarify what I mean by drop sets. I mean doing a set amount of reps to almost exhaustion with a starting weight and dropping 10lbs and immediatly doing another to failure and so...
Any of you guys incorporate drop sets into your back work?
I've been trying it the last couple of weeks, just two drop sets each back movement and it's brutal. Really blows up your back.
Post em' up. I've got a couple months before my next meet and am really concentrating on upper back
haha trust me I understand. I spent quite a bit of time competing in the USAPL. Then I went to an APF meet and realized people could actually have fun at a meet lol
Embrace it Scott. Come back to the dark side
Careful Scott, you do a meet without the ridiculous rules enforcement and a deadlift bar and you'll leave the USAPL for good! haha.
Warming up on the treadmill won't really do anything for your lifting if that's your only goal.
But you should definitely warm up the muscles you are working that day on your first exercise...
Nice job! Looks like overall you had a solid meet
I'll just say that in my experience single ply was MUCH more difficult to learn than multiply. To get the poundages out of the gear that you need to be competitive you have to wear super tight single...
I've worn the Rhino 36" wraps for several years now. Really good wraps.
I think the company is Iron Rebel now.
