I can actually say I had a back injury form the leg press. I think it was a bit different though, you lay on your back horizontal on the sled it it moves while you push off a thign wiht your feet....
When you get to heavier weights its alot easier to do one at a time. It can throw off your balance pretty good holding a buncha weight straight out infront of you at arms length hehe
Damn, got me dissapointed thinkin you might be have a RX7.
I jsut throw in a couple sets of DB curls at the end of my back day. Can't hurt and take relativley a few minutes.

I like single handed over double. But i prefer skull crushers over both.
Do not get a Tiburone! Check out any reviews on them they are gutless peices of junk for the price and what not they just aren't worth it. Don't waste your money on one.
How about switching your chest day to a day al by itself or switch it with soemthing else instead of your back? you could maybye try a chest/tr then a back/bi type deal?
Also stretchign wont prevent you form getting bulky.
