    I started my bulk today but is this bad??

    Right now im 5 foot 9 145 lbs, about 11-12% bf. I started bulking today i wanna get up to about 170-175 by december if possible. But heres my calories from fitday today, alot fo the carbs came from a mass gainer shake but my question is did i take in to many carbs and is this bad and can it cause negative results cuz im going for a semi clean bulk no fast food ro stuff like that or pop or really sugary things.     anyone some help please before i eat that much today and take in just asw many carbs? let me know if thats good cuz im trying to bulk but do it clean and not add to much fat

    I don't know about the carbs but you need to up the fats by a lot.

    Carbs very high
    Fats (healthy ones') need to be increased
    Protein is so-so

    (only my opinion)

    What is your maintenance calories?
    What is the macro ratio for your maintenance?
    How much alcohol are you drinking? A lot can be detrimental to your gains.

    Carbs are high. I'm bulking on half those carbs. And I consider the amount carbs I eat is high anyway.

    what should i eat thats low in carbs and high in calories. Ive been drinking alot of milk eating bagels with peanut butter and eating meat. My matinece is around 1900-2200 on average. So im eating about 1000-1500 more each day. I tried to keep the fat low because i dont want to gain to much bf. I know peanut butter is a pretty healty fat but besides that what should i eat taht could cut down the carbs and up everything else, alot of the carbs came from my mass gainer shake that i drank along with the food i ate. Please ive searched the forums before ive asked anything so little help would be really appreciated thanks

    i dont drink any alcohol either, if i do its not taht much and very very sparingly.

    If your matienence really is 2,200 I highly recomend you not taking in a surplus of 1,300 cals a day...

    Disclaimer: I don't know ****.

    I would likely read the label on my mass gainer, and if it's basically sugar, I would dump it. Sugar is teh bad.

    Eating fat will not make you fat. Eating too much in general and eating too many carbs of the wrong kinds at the wrong times will make you fat.

    Track your calories and your weight and figure out what your maintenance level is. If it really is 2200, then you probably want to reduce the amount you're eating over somewhat.

    Everyone is different. I maintain at 2550, maybe 2650 these days. I bulk at 2850-3000.

    And here's a quick way to add fat. Just pour a little canola oil into your protein shake. Viola. Fat.

    well the mass gainer only has 21 grams of sugar but 252 carbs total. So its not all sugar. Its got 74 g of protein and 1200 calories without the milk. Also has a ton of vitamans pretty much 130-250 percent of the daily value of almost all vitamans. So for bulking i shouldnt take in that many calories then? My matinece is arond 2200 or so would 3000 cals be better to do,what some good foods to eat while bulking, i dont care what it tastes like just ome good things i should be eating so i can gain some muscle fast
