Today I was fighting and the guy took an opportunity and grabbed my thumb and bent it.. It was only about a second or two long, as we were in the middle of exchanging punches. My thumb hurts a bit right now, but I can still move it.
Should I get it checked out at the doctors?
Also, I'm not fight expert, but from the experience today, I can say that when exchanging blows, I'm gonna keep clenched fists the whole time.

I wouldn't worry about it. If you can move it then it should be fine. Had it been broken or you ripped a tendon you wouldn't be able to move it and it would be extremely painful.
And you never ever go to a brawl slapping. Leave that for women.

Thanks for the responses. I'm pretty sure it's not broken. Could mods delete this now?
