Lower back problems someone please help

alright well while i was deadlifting i was going for my last rep and it took everything i had... well i accidentally inclined my lower back too much and my lower back buckled underneath the weight. the next morning i had a very bad back pain... but it was only on the right side of my spine (you know the muscles right next to your spine? kinda like bars...) yea well that one is hurting like crazy, while the left one is just sore (i know the difference). also sometimes when i put too much pressure on the hurting muscle, i try to feel my back and its numb, but only on the hurting muscle. also, it protrudes out more than the left muscle.

any ideas on what this is? should i see a doctor or just rest it out?

If you herniated a disc you probably wouldn't be mobile for few to several days. Those things are nasty.

Just take it easy, use some ice for the next couple days, and see about getting a massage(not deep tissue), preferably by a hot asian.
