I just broke up with my girlfriend... I loved her to bits but she's moving 300miles away. So we left on good terms but you know that feeling when you miss someone so much and you want to be with them. I talk to her over the phone and it helps but im seriously love sick. Yesterday my mother cooked this massive roast dinner with chicken and everything (best meal you can get!) and i said i wasn't hungry because my stomach was aching. She automatically knew what was wrong with me. I can't stop thinking about her but it's effecting my eating... I'm loosing weight. How do i make the pain stop?
It's got to the point where in the morning i drink a pint of water and it feels like im going to be sick. I got off the exercise bike after 1km on full power and had to lay down for 30mins because i thought i was going to be sick!
Please don't say get with another girl because i can't move on at the moment.
At the moment screw getting 3000 calories in im having trouble getting a 1000!

There is no easy answer, but it will get better. It will get better, day by day, week by week. Every time you catch yourself thinking about her, remind yourself of the positives. The grief of trying to maintain a relationship 300 miles apart, the fact that there are other girls out there that will make you just as or more happier.
I have been through the same. I broke up with my girl of 6 years and for a week or so I was questioning my decision, not able to eat much etc..
All I say is try and eat more regularly, but smaller meals. Snack on smaller things and in a week or so I reckon you will be doing much better.

Very sorry to hear about your situation...i kind of feel the same way. whenever my girlfriend and i get in bad fights i always get a sick feeling in my stomach. the feeling stays untill we solve the problem/the fight ends. but untill then i really cant solid food or anything filling because i feel like i would throw up...just stick to shakes. protein, oats and PB! you can easily down a few hundred calories in a few minutes sipping a shake and playing xbox or watching TV!

Sorry to hear about your situation. There's no easy answer/solution here. The most important variable is time. In the meantime, try to occupy your mind with something. Surround yourself with people....even if you're not directly interacting with them (coffee shop, etc.). Best of luck.

There were a couple break up threads recently that I think you may find advice in, that's one of them. For the life of me I can't find the other one, and just spent 10 minutes trying to find it, so that's all I can hook up for now..
