    how many calories for me?

    Hi,

I have a hard time gaining weight, and I don't really want to spend a week eating maintenance to see what my maintenance is. I'd like a rough number of calories I need to eat per day to gain weight. As for the ratio of muscle to fat, I don't really care as long as it's not too much fat, meaning I wouldn't care reaching near that limit where people would say I'd be gaining too much fat.

I weigh 174. I'm 5'11. My bf is 15% (guestimating). I've been eating around 3500 calories per day for the past 3 or 4 days. I know I could just wait and see what happens to my weight or whatnot, but I just wanted the approval of the people on these boards.

If you have been eating 3,500 for 3 or 4 days and this is the first time you have kept track.....well, then 3 or 4 days is nothing.

So yes, Keep it there for at least 2 weeks.
