... a super hero MOUSE anyway.
I wish I was this mouse:
"The mouse can run up to six kilometres (3.7 miles) at a speed of 20 metres per minute for five hours or more without stopping. Scientists said that this was equivalent of a man cycling at speed up an Alpine mountain without a break. Although it eats up to 60 per cent more food than an ordinary mouse, the modified mouse does not put on weight. It also lives longer and enjoys an active sex life well into old age – being capable of breeding at three times the normal maximum age."

Human anatomy is a bit more complex than mice anatomy. That is very interesting though.
If they start testing on humans, this will turn into Resident Evil.![]()

You're looking at something that is going to be available either underground or in public for use among humans in the next 50-100 years.
I'm kind of with you on this one. Whats the point of becoming a super human if anyone with money can. I like the old fashion way of working your ass off and slowly reaching your goals. Much more fulfilling. I'm all for curing diseases too but it seems like if we keep up our rate of curing, the world is going to become over populated in no time which will just cause other problems. One solutions leads to other problems...its a vicious cycle.
It is damn cool though![]()
Somebody, somewhere will do this to human embryos.

"could shed light on the link between high-calorie diets and cancer"
hmm..
I don't see how a high calorie diet leads to cancer. A high calorie diet to guys like us is simply more food. If saying a high calorie diet leads to cancer, then you'd have to say eating food leads to cancer. Cancer is caused by genetic mutation. I don't see how taking in more food relates to cancer.
