Okay I, personally, am sick of everyone taking things so personal here. I mean if you say anything like a sexist joke, racist joke, something about someone dieing, what so ever you get railed for it. The only way you can possible get away with it is to supersaturate it with sarcasm so that even a 6 year old with downs catches it. I mean I made a thread about "what you were ODC about" (using OCD liberally to mean what you were obsessed with) and I had to read page responses about how OCD is horrible and how it has hurt peoples lives... I DON'T CARE. I mean I come in this forum to make a post to get a response on peoples opinions and it seems that in every thread there's at least one person that thinks it would be cool to be emo and takes it to a whole other level and seems to think it's a personal attack them or they think they should stand up for every person in the world, ever. I'm not calling out anyone, I just needed to vent because I just can't take this anymore. Please, just stay on topic there wouldn't be all these stupid arguments in every single thread, It's getting old.... fast....

PS: this is only in the General chat.

Waitaminute. You don't care whether you make others feel bad but you do care when others get on your ass and make you feel bad? You're not showing a very mature POV here. I'm not familiar with the thread you started and I don't know where it went off track, but the part I quoted from the OP bothers me. Some jokes hurt people and may be inappropriate in an open forum. Is this much of a surprise?

No, jokes != true feelings. However, I think that the kind of jokes you tell definitely say something about the kind of person you are.

I agree with the OP, it seems like there's too many people on this forum that are just way to sensitive to everything. Posts get deleted all the time that are not insulting at all. The slightest little insult or offensive word get used and everything goes up in flames.

Everyone always talks about the "pussification of america" and how bad it is, but this board is going that same route. It's like there's too many people on this forum constantly asking themselves what would jesus do. Other forums allow a lot more joking and messing around, which makes them a lot more fun.

Note: This will probably get deleted due to the jesus comment because someone will be offended, although there's nothing offensive about it.
