    Question for Guitarists

Can any of you recommend some basic blues and blues rock CD's for practicing blues progression chords and simple improvising? I've been playing for about six months (Got a great new guitar for Chirstmas - a Gibson SG Classic) and want to start playing along to some simple CD's - both chords and to start working on improvising.

I'm not looking so much for Groups (like play along with Freddy King, or try the Allman Bros); but rather, CD's produced specifically for playing along to and learning.

    Thanks for any ideas.

If you search ebay for "backing tracks" you'll find a bunch on there. I don't know how good they are.
The Iron never lies to you. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go, but 200 pounds is always 200 pounds - a warm-up.

This sit has some free backing tracks. Of course you could always buy some or make your own. The best idea is to make a jam band with some buds. Lots of fun.
