Thread: knee. ugh.

    knee. ugh.

    was just stretching before bed, went down to squat(correct stance), and when i hit below parallel, i hear a little pop in my knee(sounds like top), and then when i come out of the hole i hear a crunchy tear sound(more of on the outter part)


    any ideas? doesn't hurt. just makes a noise and i know that it shouldn't.

    mine does that too when i go below parallel every time i do it. Doc told me its part of growing, but i see you're 6' 3'' so i dont know.

    Some noises can be normal as long as they don't cause pain. My knees make some noises, too, but I've never had any probelms with them. Just be aware of anything that feels abnormal once you start squatting with heavy weights on your back.
