Hello. Last summer I competed in my first strongman competition. It's pretty light as strongman comps go, but I think I did pretty well for a first-timer. I came third last (sounds better than 16th), and my two main downfalls were A. infamiliarity with the equipment (first or second time using it), and sub-par conditioning (my body basically gave up on me halfway through the third event). It was a great experience and I met some really strong guys. Last summer I was only strong enough to do that one comp, but this summer I want to do a few more. Enjoy the video.

Pics look good. Give it some time keep training and youll just keep getting better and better.
Success is achieved by doing a little more than you thought you could, and a lot more than anyone else.
That's kind of cool that you went for it. It'll be interesting to see how you do a year later.
Nice vid Klotz, I'm in for the one on the island this summer.
You're stronger now than I was a year ago, so you should do ok.
Dude, I was at that strongman event. I did not compete but my buddies Andrew and Phil did (they were brothers). Anyways hell of a job!

Yeah that sounds like me. Who are you? (a description may suffice if you don't want to reveal your name)
Lots of Queen's people on wannebebig, apparently.
Hey I tried to respond to your PM but my post count is less than 15. Hah, that's testament to how little I post. I do tend to lurk.
Cool to see Queen's people here. I've seen your posts before but didn't realize you were at Queen's. Maybe we'll run into one another some time.
Perhaps. You look kind of familiar. Are you that guy who's really good at oly lifting?
