Hey. Antibiotics and Squats inside >:(

So. After lots of lurking and reading on this forum I am making this thread from my dormroom at FSU. Its 1:50 right now and I have not gone to the gym in about 2 weeks. My life is lifting. Im looking at my gallon jug and oatmeal and thinking about how I cant train on antibiotics. I have a 5 day dose and i am on 4th day with the 4th dose coming in about 4-6 hours. Now, yesterday i felt back to normal after over a week of a sinus infection. Today, i feel like a million bucks but HAVE to finish the antibiotics with my last dose tommorow at 6 p.m. or so. (250mg perday). NOW, I want to start my new week of lifting with quads and calves(light quad ext. --->squats --->some leg press---> calve raises and seated calves) SO, should I go today before my 4th dose? Go tommorow before my 5th dose? Or go saturday or sunday. KEEP IN MIND, i feel perfect now and was on the antibiotics for what the doctor claimed was a sinus infection. SO PLEASE PLEASE keep my love alive for this forum and help

If you're in sufficient shape right now as you claimed, yes go ahead and lift. Your short course on antibiotics is not long enough to compromise your vitamin/mineral absorption. As a reminder though, eat some cheese/yogurt following the course of your antibiotics, to replenish the good intestinal flora your prescription killed off.

I can do that Ya. My body weight is 170 so with over a gallon jug of water a day and 6 meals i think the 250mg of antibiotics should be okay. Im pretty sure once antibiotics are in ur system weight, food, water dont have too much affect but just throwing that out there.

    Workout. You're fine.

Out of curiousity, what were the symptoms of this "sinus infection"?
    I know you're half-crazy, but I wish you'd go all the way.
