Lifts go 455x1, 500x1, 515x1 PR, 525x0 - close but no good
The 515 is what I've been chasing for awhile. Been stapled with it the last two training cycles but this time I got it

Thanks guys. I was really happy to have hit it. I've been stuck with that stupid weight twice now so to hit it and still have some more in the tank for two more attempts was all the sweeter
Great lifts! Just kinda curious though....how long do you usually wait in between these attemps? I know me personally if I hit a PR and attempt another one within 5 minutes I almost never get it. Do ya take a while? Ya think you woudve got the 525 if you were more fresh? Anyways...awesome raw strength. Keep it up.

Up until the 515 I had taken about 3min between attempts. We get in a 3 man rotation and keep it hoppin. I don't like to stand around just sitting there, I lose my focus. Actually the 525 in that video was actually the second attempt at 525. I took probably 5min between 515 and the first 525, another 5 between that and the second 525. I had the gas, its just I didn't have the lockout yet for the 525. I'm going to add some two board work in my cycle to help with that range.

hehe, I walked out of there and stepped on the scale at 257lbs in my gym clothes and shoes. thanks to some salt and waxy maize pre, during and post workout. I have also definatly put on a few quality pounds from the RESULTS as well.
Today I'm back down to around 248lbs and I'll probably drop back even further to about 245 or so. I put on a mini bloat yesterday to help out. I still don't want to get too far away from the 242 class pretty much because I hate cutting weight

im gonna have to try the salt trick to see how it works. sounds nasty, i may just take it in a shot of hot salt water then wash it down with WM. i drink Mag Citrate before cutting weight... and there is NOTHING pleasing about that lemony flavor! haha i couldnt drink 30 oz of salty WM!

Why did you put your attempts so close together? I think you could've smoked 520 if you would've went from 505 right into 520 or even 525! Your bar speed and control is awesome!

Thats what I did. The first time I tried the salt, I mixed in with my WM just like Justin said and it really was the worst tasting drink. To get it slowly down throughout the workout was awful but I just kept tippin it back. On Tuesday I put some salt in a 1liter bottle of water and mixed it with half water and half gatorade. Not too bad. This was probably 1 1/2hrs pre workout
Thanks man! haha you're probably right. The number I was after was 515. I didn't really expect to have enough gas left for 525 on my last attempt but I figured what the heck, throw some more weight on there again and let me see. I still was surprised how far I got it off my chest.
