I guess this has been many years in the making. Its been getting exponentially worse the last few days. Basically as long as I can remember I have never been able to drink pop and eat because it would make me sick to my stomach. I never really thought much of it, who cares, I dont like pop anyways. Then maybe a few months to even a year ago I started getting sick when I was eating big meals and expecially pastas and stuff. Didn't think much of this either. Everyone gets sick if they eat a lot so I just figured it was normal. Three weeks ago I woke up, went and got some breakfast and drove to class. I left class about 10 minutes into and threw up several times. Ever since then Ive been getting sick in the morning and unable to eat. I only actually puked twice. Each was a friday. Now I am getting sick pretty much with every meal I eat. Im going to see a specialist either this thursday or next thursday. They will probably have to knock me out and run a camera down there to check it out. Just curious if anyone has any idea what it could be or has had problems like it before. Today I had half of a little burrito and spent the next few minutes over the toilet holding it down.
I thought it might be that I was becoming lactose intolerant. So I cut most of those out of my diet and it got better. But now its bad again. The only really new thing to my diet was RESULTS. None of this happened until about 2 weeks in so I figure thats not it. I cut it out for a few days and didnt notice much of a difference. Obviously I feel a little bloated after taking it but rarely the sick feeling I get with other foods.
I was bulking and up to 154 last week. Now I was 149.5 this morning. :/
Also what would be a good thing to eat that probably wouldnt do much to my stomach that I could keep down and would help me keep up my cals/protein. I can still workout fine and infact I feel better after I do.

Phenom - After two speeding tickets I drive like I have a kilo of cocaine and a dead body in my trunk.
friend of mine just went through the same thing. He had some sort of reflux going on and everytime he ate he said he would feel extremely sick and bloated. they put him on a few things and hes doing alot better now and is supposed to be healed (esophageal damage) in a month or so.
edit: not saying thats all it could be. there are a NUMBER of things including gallbladder issues etc.
sorry pulsey not trying to scare you, just prepare you

Wheat intolerance maybe?
Just putting it out there. You mentioned pasta.
Wheat messes me up. I can't eat a lot of it or it makes me pretty sick.
Im not scared. It could be something serious thats why I have an appointment.
I never thought about that but I could check it out. Im feeling fine right now and I just had a pretty decent meal with some bread and stuff.
Thanks for the help so far. Im just trying to get lots of opinions.
I have been thinking about the dextrose in RESULTS. My mom and grandmother have a history of hypoglycemia and I know that the 80g servings of dextrose really affects insulin. I dont know if short term use of this could have affected things either. Ive never been properly diagnosed because I dont want to take the test but its heriditary and Ive had many of the symptoms.

I forget the name of the disease, but some of my cousins have to follow a gluten-free diet. Maybe that's what you have.

You could have definitely developed an intolerence to something. I used to eat like 4 or 5 eggs every morning. After a few months I started get sick and now I can barely stomach 1 or 2.

Thanks for all the help guys. I saw a specialist and they really just completely ignored the idea that I could be any type of food allergy. Im having an esophagogastroduodenoscopy on tuesday the 15th to see if there is something wrong.
I copy and pasted that word. Its just a camera ran down my esophagus into my stomach. Might take some tissue samples down there too. Nothing too big - if I figure anything out Ill be sure to put it on here. Its happening pretty much everyday but is worse in the morning.
My family has a history of problems with the colon and some valve in the stomach.

I was just about to post a thread about something similar, but found this on search.
I can't eat in mornings at all really so I have a shake instead. Today was the second time in a few days I've thrown it up and I feel really sick after a not very significant meal.
My shake contains milk, banana, whey, olive oil and pb. So pretty generic.
Look on the bright side - it's better than having a camera shoved up your ass. I've had a couple of those already.
That happens to me sometimes with shakes in the morning. I think it's the carbs + the liter of water I drink. When I was young I would feel really sick if I drank water in the morning without eating - my mouth would start salivating like I was going to hurl. Try just taking whey and straight olive oil for a while.
I don't know what the cause is yet, something I think I'll have to keep up and see what happens. That happens to me sometimes with shakes in the morning. Nearnly all the throwing up done since I took food seriously has been to do with poor timing of meals, i.e. too close and being cocky about it.
Theres not many carbs I would think in mine though, just ~100-150cals in banana and however many in a tblspn of pb.
Wait and see policy methinks. I just fear stuff like this interfering too much socialy and at school.
Try having a fiberoptic shoved down your dick hole. I'd take a camera up the ass anyday over that.
I have the same problem some mornings. I've never thrown up but I'm just not that hungry. However, if I don't eat much due to lack of hunger I'm starving an hour later and get pissed off. Lately I've been getting up a littler earlier, get everything else ready for class and then I eat last. Waiting around a little while seems to be helping.

Fiberoptic down the dick hole? What the hell would you need that for... and hopefully i never everrrr get that.
Procedure was pretty easy. They didn't find much there was some redness in parts of my stomach and they took a biopsy at 2 places I think so Ill know on the 29th what happened there. They gave me a script for Nexium. Took my first one tonight and I haven't felt this good in weeks. Still don't know what it is, but this helps a ton.
