decided to make a journal to keep track of my gains/what i eat. i dont mind if you dont post but just be nice. my max seems a little off what i rep because i had a weeks rest before i maxed 225. almolst forgot to add that i fast for about 7 hours from when i wake up, then when i get home i make something to eat.
main goal is to bench 275 at around 150 pounds as a 1rm
meal 1
1 cup egg beaters
2 whole wheat english muffins with chicken
1 cup milk/water
2 slices white bread
workout-ME chest
flat bench press
135x3x2 (felt heavy)
155x3
175x4
185x5 PR
205x2 (spotter touched on last rep, PR is 3)
incline bench
135x8
135x6
135x6
decline bench supersetted with DB flies
8x135
7x155 (dropped 8th rep just below my ribs which still hurts)
2x155 (felt heavy)
8x155 (drank some snapple and tried again)
didnt get to do my usual routine because im currently trying to get some heavy dumbbells
meal 2
3 chicken cutlets
mashed potatoes
2 cups of water
meal 3
2 cups baby cereal w/ milk
1 cup milk/water
2 slices white bread with peanut butter

today is a rest day, probably gonna do some sort of cardio

1 orange
4 granola bars (tasted like ****)
2 cups milk
1 cup water
did some weighted situps and high rep squats
meal 2
1 whole wheat bagel with peanut butter
2 cups milk
2 granola bars (i hate these, good source of fiber)

Why on earth do you fast for 7 hours after you get up? If you're sleeping 8 hours a day that's 15 hours a day of not eating...

wtf, your chest is so much bigger than the rest of you. Thats weird IMO
if i stand straight with a tight shirt my chest sticks out alot, i tend to slouch. my legs used to be long for my body but when i grew, my shoulders got broad for my height, my arms hang down so my hands can almost touch my knees.

your bench is flying man! thats real beasty! anyway how long you been lifting seriously man? and where abouts are you living? in the states?

hia, i was a curl jockey since i was 13. at the beginning of my sophomore year i started doing a decent routine. ended up fracturing my knuckle outside the gym and had to rest for 4 weeks. when i came back i had made lots of gains on all my lifts. so since then i have been lifting for about 7-8 months.
good stuff man! your goals seem to be similar to mine. I'm trying to hit a 300lb RAW bench @150lb and I'm at about ~225lb now. good luck to you man![]()
