    Rate my workout routine

I'm posting this to ask if I should move any exercises around or add/remove exercises.

I'm training for strength in Bench press and increasing my clean and jerk
I won't have access to bumper plates for a couple months so this is what I came up with for a training program.

Any input would be very much appreciated.

    Day 1
    Bench press 5x5
    Incline bench 3x5
    close grip bench 3x5
    Standing military press 3x5
    Shrugs 3x10

    Day 2
    Front squat 5x5
    Back squat 3x5
    Deadlift 3x5
    lat pull downs 3x10
    hammer curls 3x10
    concentration curls 3x10

I'm no expert, but it seems to me that you have way too many pressing movements in your day 1 workout. Maybe pick two of them and supplement them with some isolation exercises as accessory work to bring up any specific weaknesses you might have, be it shoulders or triceps.

Yeah, too much pressing. You planning on repeating Day 1 and Day 2 again that week? If so, break up those workouts into 4 days.

Additionally, if your traps are sore from day 1, deadlifting on day 2 is not gonna be fun...

Do you NEED bumper plates to clean? Or jerk, for that matter?
