    Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

I've been having a very weird sensation lately and the only things I can think of are irritable bowel syndrome or abdominal muscle spasms. It happens randomly in my lower abdomen, below my belly and just above my pubic region, and only on the right side. It honestly feels like something is inside me moving around/kicking. Best way to describe it is a gurgly/bubbly movement and when I hold my hand on the area I can easily feel it. If you look closely while it's happening you can even see the movement. It doesn't hurt, it's just annoying and a little freaky because I have no clue what's causing it. At first I thought I strained a muscle and it was spasms but it's been going on for about 4 or 5 days now.

I've been going to the bathroom regularly with no diarrhea or discomfort.

Here's a thread I found with quite a few people having the exact same symptoms as me: http://www.steadyhealth.com/lower_ab...es_t78434.html

Should wikipedia IBS I remember it having a lot of valuable information (I was worried I had it at one point as well). I haven't read the article for some time now but I could've sworn a large side affect of IBS was constipation and diarrhea and you said you've been regular so maybe it’s something else? Honestly I’d just go to the family doc just incase and get it checked out if this is irregular for you.

    any dietary changes of late?
    I know you're half-crazy, but I wish you'd go all the way.

I've had the same exact thing, but never thought it could be anything till you posted this thread. The other people in the thread are having much more serious episodes than me acting like there is a child inside of them. Hopefully it's just gas...

While not unheard of, you just seem a bit young to develop IBS. Something as simple as a change in colonic flora can cause those symptoms.

It seems to have calmed down now. I haven't noticed it at all within the last couple days.

My bro with Crohn's has that exact same thing. I would get it checked if it persists.

It could be the milk you drink to be honest. American milk never sat with my bro.
