Injured due to bad handoffs, got injured in warmups but tried to get at least one attempt in at 650. The first handoff on 650, the guy on the right never let go of the bar causing the weight to fall on my injured left side. Second attempt at 650 the handoff was good, but my bicep popped twice and my shoulder was throbbing, it was also a no go. Going to the doc today to find out how bad and when I can start training again.
Heal up bud. You'll be back in action in no time at all

Ouch, bud. I don't know what a popped bicep feels like but I've seen it and it's not pretty. Heal up fast!

that sucks, you didnt have your own hand off guys.
good better soon.
Strained my anterior delt and muscular tear of the bicep, no tendon damage which is a good thing!
So are you doing to have surgery or just let it heal on its own.

Muscle tears will heal on thier own.
Nick, not sure if you have access to it or not, but when I tore the muscle belly of my bicep I rotated ultrasound and cold laser and was able to really speed up the healing process.
good point Ben. Ultrasound is a very good tool to use when getting a muscle tear. I had a tear in the back of my neck several years ago (no idea how it happened) and I did some ultrasound therapy and it worked wonders

Damn that sucks! Heal up Nick
Get better quick Nick!
I had what they called a "combi" treatment when I tore a glute last year (combination of electro-stim and ultrasound) and it did work wonders. Was healed up and training again within about 4-5 weeks, so for a bicep it should be about the same depending on how bad the tear is.
