I work for a large insurance company. My year contract in my job will conclude in the next month. This doesn't mean I lose my job, it just means I have the opportunity to look for other opportunities in the company and find a better job.
I have my associates in business marketing and am working towards my bachelors through night/ weekend school.
I was looking at job posts for internal wholesaling. The job seems interesting. I really like sales, just don't have the experience. I would like to use internal wholesaling as a stepping stone to being an external wholesaler with a territory. Anyone have any experience with being an internal or external wholesaler in the insurance business? Any adivce, comments, or direction about this career is appreciated. Thanks.
