Well, I just finished taking final pictures this morning for a 6month recomp contest over at bb.com. First four months I bulked up, hit 200, and last 2 months I've cut down to around 179-181 @ 8-9% BF.
Here's the before/after pics:

Currently cutting (Weight was 229lbs on Monday 13.08.12 when i started dieting).

you've made great progress! I'm sure the shaving, lighting and tan helped, though I'm taking away from your accomlpishment at all![]()
Thanks man, overall, it's not the size I really want, so I'm happy the cutting is over.
Obviously the tanning/shaving helped lol I just wanted the biggest difference between january/now for the judge panel (Layne Norton is one of them). I'd be happy to place top 5.

Thanks man...had a hard time building the calves up and dropping the last little bit of water for the abs.
It was a spray tan that I bought in a bottle, I thought it came out pretty good.
Yeah man, deadlift is actually my favorite exercise..gonna work on taking some vids in the next few days. Bench eh...it's overhyped
Thanks bro, it was fun to cut down and look ripped for a little, but it's time to put on the slabs of mass.
Thanks, was a pretty tedious diet, and I really only cut down for 7 weeks. So one day, when I cut down for a solid 16 weeks...we'll see what I can do

Hey Dgabe. I was wondering if you could tell me exactly where and what you bought as far as the spray tan goes. I was thinking about getting one myself but I've always been worried about then since I've heard nasty stories about people turning orange. But yours seemed to turn out great. You're looking much more defined and harder.

Actually I went to a local tanning salon and bought one of their spray tans. When I go home this weekend I can get the brand and product name for you. Turned out better than I hoped for! And thanks for the kind words man..was my first real contest prep, and I learned a lot. The bulk is going quite succesful and I'm back up to 195ish already...got about 30 more lbs to go and then we'll see what I do from there
