    Cutting Diet Questions

Trying to keep the cutting diet going...few questions I have come up with along the way. Such a learning process this dieting stuff is.

    1. How bad are simple carbs for my diet? Is it going to hurt me to stick a bananna in my after workout protein shake? Protein Powder + Banana + 2c Skim Milk

    2. Should I still put 5g of Creatine in my shakes, or just forget about the stuff until I bulk again.

    3. Each week after I weigh, if I lose my goal of pounds, should I adjust my nutrient numbers to reflect this, or keep my same numbers for an extended period of time? (ie. if i go from 160 to 158, should I cut out 2g of protein?)

Thanks for the help! I am learning a lot.

I maintain the same ratios (40p/40c/20f) regardless of the number of total calories. (to a certain degree, the exception being when the calories get way down at the end of a cycle)

When dieting I cut carbs. first, then fats and finally protein. (I never go below 1g/1lb.)

    You may be different, though.

    Experiment.

    I don't supplement, so I can't speak to that.
