Well, I figured this forum needed a Michael Phelps thread as all the others forums seem to want to know what he eats, discuss his ripped physique and argue about if he wears ribbed or magnums.
LOL...
I heard he wears a Titan F6 and has hit a gym best of 885... he then went and swam for 6 hours and ate 17,000 kcals afterwords
yeah I just got banned @ BB.com it was AMAZING
The most ironic thing is that the one place that it would actually fit,(assuming we were discussing the benefits of swim training) the GPP forum, there is no "Michael Phelps" thread!

I wouldn't assume much...

I'll ask him next time I see him.

Michael Phelps is just happy that Rob Luyando doesn't swim!
Can't wait 'til tomorrow, 'cause I get stronger every day!
Well, I'm sure if he could figure out the groove w. a tri-ply Rage, he'd bench a grand. His squat and deadlift would need to catch up, but w. some Metal gear and a monolift, I'm pretty sure he'd total 3000.
A child does not learn to squat from the top down. In other words, he does not suddenly make a conscious decision one day to squat. Actually, he is squatting one day and make the conscious decision to stand. Squatting precedes standing in the developmental sequence. This is the way a child's brain learns to use the body as the child develops movement patterns. Therefore, a child is probably crawling, rocks back into a squatting position with the back completely relaxed and the hips completely flexed, and stands when he has enough hip strength. This approach makes a lot of sense and can be applied to relearning the deep squat movement if it is lost. -Gray Cook

Wonder how his arch is...
Who the f@#k is Michael Phelps?
can everyone please get their ****'s out of his ***. he is a swimmer, he does different workouts, he isn't ripped at all. swimming is technique as well as strength, and unless you are a swimmer you probably shouldn't base your workouts on what Michael Phelps does.
Why make fun of Phelps? He's an amazing athlete, one of the best in history. Just because he doesn't lift a ton doesn't mean he's less of a man than you all. Someone was impressed by his physique and you guys ripped on him. You guys jealous?
No we're commenting on the level of hero worship taking place on this board, coupled with the fact that 4 threads regarding his diet / physique have been started (not including this one)
Again and as many of us has said, we/I respect everything he's done athletically. I do think he's a truly amazing athlete, but the amount of press his 12,000 kcal diet is getting is a bit absurd
