    Fitday revamp?

I just logged onto fitday after not doing so for a week or so. Does everyone like the new setup they have? To be honest I hate it, it seems confusing at least from the old one which was extremely simple to use. Maybe it just takes some getting used to....

I kinda like it. I dont use fitday, although I do have an account. I'm sure, like anything it will just take some time to get used to.

yea I hate when websites change themselves up like that. Yahoo did it and myspace.

    WHAT THE HECK!!!

Why don't I have the option of putting my food rations into cups? This is annoying. Anybody having trouble making custom foods too? It won't let me change the way its converted.

When I go to make a custom food it automatically puts in "one serving" and doesn't let me change it to any other conversion type.

I hate the new format. What are some other websites for tracking food?

excel will serve you far better, but for the sake of putting it out there for critique it's not nearly as easy.

A friend of mine does excel and I know its a lot of work, but then he's a freak about all that stuff. Tracks his food to the oz... I don't think I have the time to create my own spreadsheet. Hell, its hard enough to build my daily menu on fitday and I've got tons of custom foods that I've input myself. Anything else?

Fitday was great. If anybody has used it recently please let me know why I am not able to tell the site what kind of measurement I want to use.

You could spend about 15 min and make a really nice template up in excel for tracking your food.

It could break down calories, macro's, percentages, and even chart progress and all kinds of stuff like that.

The thing of it is though, you can be VERY exact with your recordings with very little effort. I found I was needing to approximate a lot of stuff with fitday and it took a while to boot. With excel its bang bang done.
