Thanks Everyone!!!
Mom made it through her surgery OK today. It took about 8 hrs from start to finsh and the Doc said everything took pretty good.
He did tell us her heart was pretty weak and they are hoping the new valve will help to strengthen it but everything else looked good and they even rerouted the electrical route of her heart.
That just amazes me that they can even reroute the body's own electric route. Medical Science is just Crazy.

I'm glad it went well. I know how stressful things like this can be. Almost exactly 7 years ago, my Mom had surgery where they tried to remove her glioblastoma multiforme ( ie a type of brain cancer ).
Anyway, my point was that I can relate.
My prayers are with your Mom, you and your family.

Tomorrow? Hahah they were getting her out of bed today at 12:30 when we were up there. They were getting ready to take out all her drain tubes and have her standing for a bit.
