Interesting...just out of curiosity, what would be a good set of starter briefs to buy if one were to go with Metal? I'm growing increasingly frustrated with mine!

Metal doesn't really have "starter" briefs, LOL. I like the vikings, but i haven't tried any of the others.

my vikings are about 2 sizes too big, and i still get a lot of support out of them.

that being said, i'd probably go with the standard pro's.

On metal website gometal they have a fall offer. Buy 3 pay for 2. But those would be shipped from Finland. For some reason the offer is in Finnish only. Email and ask them.

I agree. That's the first piece of gear I bought. Heck I don't even own a suit or shirt. I'm still just using the Pro's and like them quite a bit. It'll take a good bit getting used to it but it isn't severe.

Not many guys are wearing Ace on Ace, it is a brutal combo and makes it very difficult to get to depth with good form. If you can master it though the carry over is huge!

It wants to force you out of the groove a lot more whereas the canvas just stops you dead.

I guess I should have clarified. I meant briefs that would be a good match for someone who is new to any kind of squat gear. I don't wanna get something that is gonna way over my head, if you know what I mean. But thanks for the reply, Ben. I appreciate it.
