My question is:
If I wake up at 5:00 and have about 25 minutes before I arrive at the gym, what can I eat in 20 minutes that will have a positive effect on the energy available for my workout? I usually go to bed by 10, so there is 7+ hours between my last meal and workout. Is it possible to get your body available energy in 25 - 30 minutes? How!

A good meal replacement powder like Opticen works well for me. I've also heard of guys taking handfulls of peanuts. Whatever you can get in and not make you too full will work.
Something as easy as a piece of fruit or slice of toast along with some whey will get your glycogen levels up.

Some dextrose would be the quickest. Powdered gatorade+protein or some dextrose+gatorade. Anything sugary would do.

When I get up early to workout I usually eat an apple, or a bagel with PB.
Then eat like a monster afterwards because I'm not used to little breakfasts.
