Workout routine slight (probably big) change..

I'm still doing the Rippletoe's Starting strength routine with Declined situps 2x a week.

    I'm now 16 and 5"5 @ 132 pounds..

I been eating a lot and did 2.5 pounds increase every workout... sometimes on the standing military press and bench press.

I was thinking to add a supplement to help improve my workouts..

From At Large Nutrition.. Is it safe if I use the RESULTS™ supplement? the $50 one?

Will the RESULTS™ supplement help me?

If you are 132 lbs the last thing you need to be worrying about is supplements.

Also keep in mind this board is supported by AtLargeNutrition, so some of the advice you are going to get is going to be biased...

  3.    Support Wannabebig and use AtLarge Nutrition Supplements!

Okay.. that sounds good.. I guess.

    and What does biased means?

But in any ways that RESULTS™ can help me? or should I wait till I'm really into the workout routine and be at least 150+ pounds to make the most out of RESULTS™ supplement?

OGROK is just letting you know that the boards sponsors sell supplements, so some of the messages here may be affected by that fact. I'm not suggesting that the board sponsors are or are not biased, but biased basically means a person has their own agenda which benefits themselves. I believe the definition of biased is something like "one sided". But, I should say I've always been happy with the At Large Nutrition products. They're very good.

Okay so can I take them?

Or they won't be effective as they should be since I'm some 5"5 skinny guy that is 16 years old @ 132 pounds?

How much are you eating? I currently weigh 135 lbs at 5'9, so I know what it's like to be very skinny due to your body burning calories like a addict burns rock.

Chances are you are not eating enough. I suggest you eat at least 4500 calories A DAY. Yes, it's possible. If you can't afford to eat that much, eat anything edible within a 5 foot radius of your body at all times.

I eat a Bean burrito and drink 2% milk at school. If not bean burritos.. I get a spicy chicken burger. Others are just carrots and fruits.

I ate 6 tacos with cheese and enough steak today and still eating that much from the other days..

    That's how much I'm eating.

You are not eating nearly enough. This is what I eat:

    Breakfast:
2 packets of oatmeal, 2 egg and cheese biscuits.

    Lunch:
Footlong sub from subway OR 6/8 oz of turkey, and two 4 oz servings of veggies.

    Dinner:
Depends. 10 oz steak, pasta, anything my family cooks. It's always a lot of food.

I also drink 4/6 glasses of chocolcate milk a day.

If I had more money I would be eating even more than that, this is all i can afford right now.

Agh.. I drink MILK too! but only like 3 glasses a day. I gotta stop taking that delilcious grape soda!! and true that! I can't have my parents pay for the milk like everyday!!

For Breakfast, I get 2 bagels and 5 strips of bacons. I'll see if I can add eggs to that if Mom can make them for me..

Yea, add eggs. They are AWESOME for protein. =] Real eggs are at least.

Anywhere you can add in food, do it. Just make sure it's not all junk food. Less junk food is better, but not required.

Supplements don't have any cognitive ability. They don't know how tall or old you are and decide if they're going to "work" based on that. But IMHO you won't notice any effect from taking supplements unless your training and diet are right first. Supplements aren't magic, but they can help recovery and aid in growth especially since they make it easier to consume enough calories. Basically, make sure your training is right and you're eating enough before being too concerned with supplements, especially since you're only 16. Lift hard and spend your money on food. But that's just my opinion.

Thanks.. and yeah I don't really keep track of what I'm eating. So I don't think I'm ready to be taking supplements.. but thanks again, I'm gonna have to withdraw that 50 bucks.
