There are a ton of people who can "squat" 315+ though.

Ya, that's true you don't have to be that big but at 14-15 that seems like a crazy high amount of weight to deep squat.
It just really impresses me and I would like to see it. I know when I was 15 there was not a single person in my grade or even the one above us to squat 3 plates. That is amazing for anyone that did a full squat with that much being so young.

We had a few strong football kids who could squat a **** ton in high school. I think the record was 600 when I left. I went to college with the kid (were he played football) and said he was up to 650 before he left he just never got it "officialized" by the coaches or whatever.

I don't doubt that, I just find it very surprising that 15-16 has the second highest votes right now.

Make a poll for 500 or 600 and i doubt it would be the same. 315 is a very attainable squat goal, after a couple years with good coaching and effort. So if you start early enough and have someone teaching you know knows what they are doing, it isn't a tough thing to do.

Plus the whole strength to weight ratio is silly the lighter person will always win.

I rarely do squats. But I did 315 back when I was in my early 30's.

Are you sure you mean Barbell Squats Denny?
This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy - George Bernard Shaw

Now I don't think so after you explained it to me.

I think that's my leg press max.

I believe I did 315 at like 15 years old. But the later part of 17 I could do 500lbs.
