Mixed up this recipe a little while ago when I was craving some of the all american favorite mac n' cheese.
(1) Box of 100% Whole Grain Elbow Shaped Noodles
(2) Packets of Powdered Cheese from Mac n' Cheese Box
(1) Large grilled chicken breast
1/2 Cup Skim Milk
This one is pretty simple. I bought some of the cheap generic mac n' cheese and then just took out the powdered cheese packets since this type seems to mix better than any real cheese. You could use fat free mozarella if you were really trying to keep things clean.
1. Boil noodles until soft.
2. Strain noodles and then return them to the pot.
3. Add 1 packet powdered cheese.
4. Add 1/2 cup skim milk
5. Add other packet powder cheese.
6. Stir / Turn until evenly distributed.
7. Add grilled chicken
Simple recipe that took maybe 5 minutes to prepare and made a good 7 servings for under $10 total. Tastes great and will take care of that craving right away.
Very low in fat (less than 3 grams / serving), Carbs is around 45 grams / serving with less than 10 grams sugar and about 15-20 grams protein per serving.
If you use the protein infused elbows it should kick up the protein a bit
I went to Rhodestown and all I got was this high cholesterol
Not to take away from this at all, but you can also use the EZmac and put canned tuna/canned chicken or any meat or pretty much anything in the world in it. Mac n cheese is THE WIN.

agree with above. ive been enjoying "tuna mac" for a few years now. OPs recipe sounds awesome too
I forgot to buy Kraft Dinner when I went shopping yesterday, I knew I forgot something.
Does tuna really fit in to the mix well?
My friend always talks about how he eats "Mac n Cheese" with tuna. It must taste alright since ppl here mentioned it too. Although I think I would prefer grilled chicken instead. Thanks for the recipe.

any kind of meat added into mac and cheese is delicious. tuna smells bad.. but oh is it good.

Do you just toss the blue box after you've harvested the cheese packets or is there something you can do with the macaroni?
