Where to buy knee wraps for squats?

Does Sports Authority sell them? Or do I have to buy them online?

Sports Authority / Dick's Sporting Goods do sell some very light wraps but they are not the best for heavy lifting.

I would suggest looking at APT Pro Wrist Straps for knee wraps, they have a number of different styles. For general gym lifting the ZRV's should suit you well: www.prowriststraps.com - they also have knee sleeves which are much more convenient and do provide good support.

Currently I use the APT Convict Knee Sleeves, but previously have used the Tommy Kono Knee Sleeves and loved them! (both are available on the site that I posted)

I don't really squat that relatively heavy. 300 at the most right now. Just trying to protect my knees. Thanks for the info.

Agreed, they will keep your joint warm and give you some good support as well.

    They sell them at APT:

    http://www.prowriststraps.com/inc/sdetail/29942

*Use the code: "SPECIAL15" for 15% off your order.

One trick that you can use is to wear them inside out so that they slide on easily as well. This is how I wear mine.

Currently i use the double ply convict Heavy knee sleeves from APT. I am only squatting in the 300 pound range. I have alot of cracking in my knees when bodyweight squatting down and pausing and then standing up. I am looking for some knee sleeves to help warm up the knee joints and for overall protection on the knees.

Are the double ply knee sleeves a bit much for my purpose? Would i be better off using a light knee sleeve like the Tommy Kono knee sleeves?
