Thanks guys. Just on cruise control for now. These couple weeks after the meet have been tough for training, especially with the crew at our usual times. But getting shit in still. Some quick shoulder training today.

Got through a long weekend alive with the boys for a Bachelor weekend up the Pocono Mountains. I set a new food PR too. They took action against me that I couldnt consume 20 hotdogs+buns in 30 minutes....their pockets are lighter boys haha!! Signature updated

What deadlift program are you following B? I need one. I have always just ended up pulling from the floor usually in my suit and I constantly feel beat to shit. I reckon I need something that will incorporate mostly raw work and a combo of speed and heavy partial stuff from high up since my lockout is my weakest point. I have always had good speed off the deck and I hope I can maintain that with speed work and not have to take heavy poundages from that low all the time.

Right now, Im just going by percentages off of the Prelipin Chart, but incorporating bands and chains, and different block heights to hit weak points. We have been using Prelipin on all 3 lifts and the whole crew is gaining strength on all lifts. Its proven to work. As of now, im rotating 3inch blocks with chains, Pin#1 rack pulls with bands, and 2or3inch deficits. Everything is raw right now, but im going to start pulling in briefs again soon.

Starting to incorporate more band tension and less bar weight on speed bench. This hits the stabilizer muscles more and keeps the bar moving fast. A couple guys have been having good results going this way, and I absolutely love it. Give it a shot if you can. Keeping shoulder work relatively light weight with high reps to save on the wear and tear. Good day overall. Ill be keeping my DE day basically like this.
