Solid speed session B!!! I like that idea with the bands. I've really been thinking about doing speed work again. I've never really gave it a shot since I've stopped lifting in gear. I'm debating on these or heavy incline presses for my next 8 week cycle.

I too really liked speed benching with more band tension less bar weight, think I did 2 sets minis choked with 115.....felt great.

Thanks Bri! More band tension also forces you to stay tight which I like. I can also spot a few form weaknesses also. For me, speed work helps both raw and geared lifting on bench.

Thanks Justin. Yea that was at Iron Sport. We had 12 guys squatting, so it was easier to break it down to 2 flights so you werent waiting around for a half hour for your next set. Good vibe on Saturday mornings there for sure.
